GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 305791
Syncing Palm with Evolution produces 31,000+ blank ToDo's on the Palm
Last modified: 2005-08-29 14:06:35 UTC
Version details: 2.2.1.1 on Ubuntu Hoary Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Hoary 5.04 1. Press button to sync 2. Tens of thousands of blank default priority tasks created on Palm. Have battled this problem with both Ubuntu and Fedora Core 3 (with a slightly older, but still version 2.x, version). For whatever reason, sometimes when I syncing my Palm Tungsten T with Evolution, thousands and thousands and thousands of blank default priority (3) tasks are created on my Palm. These thousands of blank default tasks do not show up in Evolution. Apparently this is not a unique to me problem as shown here: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-pilot-list/2005-May/msg00003.html This bug essential makes trying to sync tasks between my Palm and Evolution impossible. I've disabled (crippled) syncing tasks. This one (sadly) may force me to look at using KDE and Kontact. If you need any more info, I'll be happy to provide it. Best regards, Bob
