GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 305313
Format selection as accounting loses currency after changing number of decimals displayed
Last modified: 2005-08-19 16:51:57 UTC
Windows version. 0. Finnish locale 1. "12" in A1 2. Press "Format the selection as accounting" 3. Press "Decrease the number of decimals displayed" "12,00 €" becomes "$ 12,0" This is probably locale and/or win32 specific.
Created attachment 46830 [details] test file You can try to reproduce this bug in cell A1. I set the currency manually in A2, that cell works ok.
The Format Cells... dialog shows the currency symbol as $ in A1 but it's € in the sheet until I try to change the number of decimals displayed.
Same underlying problem as bug 305314. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 305314 ***
I can still see the same exact behaviour with win32 1.5.2-rc1. Reopening.
I see it too, although I was sure I fixed it. Oh, well.
Fixed in goffice cvs HEAD. Really. What program did that format come from originally? It has a form of the Euro that we have not seen before.
I'm not sure if I understand the question, but I didn't use any other programs. I opened gnumeric, typed "12" in A1, formatted as accounting and decreased the number of decimals. Windows specific, perhaps? I can't reproduce this anymore with win32 1.5.3-rc1. Fixed it is.
