Distribution/Version: xp pro

I just installed gimp on windows xp pro (all updates applied).  Install went
fine. jpeg.exe crases whenever I try to read an image created with one of my
digital cameras (Coolpix 995, D70).  Get Microsoft error first with opportunity
to report the bug to them, then the gimp error message.
