Please describe the problem:
When moving files to the Trash directory or deleting them from the Trash
directory, the trash applet does not refresh its status.  This often leaves the
applet's right-click menu giving you the option to clear trash when it's already
empty, or not giving you that option when the trash is actually full.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Add items to or clear Trash with trash applet running


Actual results:
Trash applet status does not change.

Expected results:
The status would change to reflect the new contents (or otherwise) of the trash.

Sounds like a problem with your file change notification. Check that you've
compiled gnome-vfs against fam or gamin.
