Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnumeric Severity: normal Version: 0.58 cvs Oct-31 Synopsis: [grandm 58.5] Class: sw-bug Distribution: Red Hat Linux release 6.1 (Cartman) System: Linux 2.2.12-20 i686 unknown C library: glibc-2.1.2-11 C compiler: 2.95.2 glib: 1.2.9 GTK+: 1.2.8 ORBit: ORBit 0.5.4 gnome-libs: gnome-libs 1.2.8 libxml: 1.8.10 gnome-print: gnome-print-0.24 gnome-core: gnome-core 1.2.3cvs Description: Grandma's Bug #58.5 1. New WS. Zoom to 200 2. In B3 type a number which will not fit into the cell, we get "########" 3. Double click on the line dividing the B & the C column we should see the number now 4. Zoom to 100 now, and on B3 we have #'s. NOTE: I don't know how bad this bug is, but XL 2000 has the exact same problem. If you use 200% and then 50% for the zooming level. (You need to set the cell to type number or else you get 123E+3). ------- Bug moved to this database by debbugs-export@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-01-27 12:33 ------- This bug was previously known as bug 30236 at http://bugs.gnome.org/ http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30236 Originally filed under the Gnumeric product and general component. This is a side effect of the fact that fonts do not scale linearly.
This is the same issue as the printing problem 62210. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 62210 ***
