Description Daniel O 2005-04-12 02:50:26 UTC
Reproduce:
* initiate a file transfer
* try to quickly navigate to different areas of your
computer

What's Wrong:
The find as you type (good) does not let you enter a
path (bad). Power win32 users aren't too afraid of the
command line, and can quickly find files by typing in a
semi-path, ie c:\path\to\*.jpg.

This dialog should provide at least the same base level
of functionality that standard windows open dialogs do.

How to fix:
* Find as you type is present in the UI, so you can
focus it and you know you can find things (currently
being hidden, I didn't even realise you could type into
it for months)
* Text input takes regexp / simple wildcards and paths
to display files.
* Shortcuts to my documents/my pictures/ etc etc etc
