Last modified: 2013-09-10 14:03:26 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you are doing. Description of Problem: evolution-2.0.1-1.4 Filters are not working with subject condition Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. I created a filter subject contains rbabu@novell.com which move to folder test 2. sent a new mail with subject rbabu@novell.com 3. I can't see the new mail in either mailbox or test folder Actual Results: mail is not visible Expected Results: it should move mail to folder test How often does this happen? always Additional Information: I did not try with other fields like sender contains, body contains etc ..,
All the mail are there in INBOX only.
make sure that you set up an *outgoing* filter and not an *incoming*, perhaps that's the reason...?

you need to enable "filter incoming messages to INBOX" in the account settings. you also need to make sure you don't let any other IMAP client see the INBOX before evolution does or Evolution won't filter the messages ebcause the server will remove the \Recent flag (which is how evo decides if the mail is "new" or not)
