GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 269707
Crash while importing 1.4 data
Last modified: 2004-11-19 22:59:49 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg) Package: Evolution Priority: Normal Version: GNOME2.8.0 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc Synopsis: Crash while importing 1.4 data Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Importers Bugzilla-Version: unspecified BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0) Description: Description of the crash: Evolution crashed while trying to import my data from evo 1.4. The final output on the terminal was: addressbook_migrate (1.2.0) trying to migrate from /home/david/evolution/addressbook-sources.xml found 3 contact servers to migrate trying to migrate completion folders (evolution:13825): libecal-CRITICAL **: file e-cal.c: line 1486 (open_calendar): assertion `ecal != NULL' failed (evolution:13825): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid (NULL) pointer instance (evolution:13825): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gsignal.c: line 2121 (g_signal_emit_valist): assertion `G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Start evolution 2.0 2. 3. Expected Results: Import all data and start running. How often does this happen? This is the first time I've tried running evolution 2.0. Additional Information: The three servers were, IIRC, Bigfoot, Verisign, and a local LDAP repository. The first two were whatever evolution 1.2 added when I first ran it. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution' (no debugging symbols found)...Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
