Description of Problem:


Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Launch 'Evolution', click on any mail folder having many mails
2. When its fetching summary of messages, if i click on 'Send/Receive'
3. Evolution hangs

Seems to work fine for me with
evolution-2.0.0.0.200409222052-0.snap.ximian.0.1. Repeated multiple
times in large (over 30,000) IMAP boxes.
Please upgrade and regress. Assuming fixed.
Please reopen if still fails after upgrade.

Scenario is almost same, logged in with exchange mail id, entered
password, while scanning folders clicked on 'Send/Receive'. Evolution
hangs.

maybe its just busy?  or is that read() call only supposed to happen
in one thread at a time.

moving to connector at any rate as it is probably more related to that.

is this still a problem - perhaps retest? 

i'm running 2.0.3 snaps and do not see a long lag using send/receive?
