Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. write an email in text-only mode with a long link, i.e.
http://www.reboot.fm/programs/netaudio-ambulance/emission?emission%5fid=119819
2. send

Actual Results:
evolution breaks the line with the link:
so the link in the email looks like:
http://www.reboot.fm/programs/netaudio-ambulance/emission?emission%
5fid=119819
to work around this you have to select the link and format it as preformat

Expected Results:
links should never be broken in any situation, so that you can just click
on the link in the email.
Comment 1 André Klapper 2005-07-16 12:00:22 UTC
still correct in 3.7.4, retargetting from 2.1 to 2.3.

workaround: use "preformatted" mode instead of "normal".
Comment 2 André Klapper 2005-11-04 19:44:05 UTC
retargetting

Comment 5 André Klapper 2017-02-09 13:38:25 UTC
GtkHtml is not under active development anymore.
Evolution (its main consumer) switched to a WebKit backend a while ago.
It is currently unlikely that there will be any further GtkHtml development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping (bug 778387) to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
