Description Kjetil Torgrim Homme 2004-04-28 04:13:12 UTC
Description of Problem:
When I attach a file, gnome-vfs is not always able to determine the correct
MIME type. E.g., I attached a PDF file, but it didn't recognise the extension.

Actual Results:
The MIME type "application/octet-stream" is greyed out and can't be changed.

Expected Results:
I should be allowed to override at a minimum application/octet-stream and
text/plain, the fallback types.

pretty sure this is a dup. tho maybe I'm just remembering a bug that
was never reported to bugzilla or WONTFIXified.
Comment 2 Jeffrey Stedfast 2004-05-06 16:31:06 UTC
er, Note: this is actually really trivial to make work. all one has to
do is edit the composer's glade file and make the GtkEntry box editable.
