GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 251934
Undo message delete using the "Undo" function
Last modified: 2005-11-15 02:22:21 UTC
Request from $CORP_CUST: ----- There is no undo delete function in Evolution. If you delete a message and immediately realize you didn't want to delete that message there is no quick way to restore that message. I already know that Evolution can sort the Trash in the order the messages were deleted. However, that takes way to long. I have more than 20K messages there. Plus my Trash is a Deleted Items Folder on an exchange server which isn't as fast as local folders. Evolution should remember the message number of the message that was just deleted and allow you to undo the last operation to that message. Most other mail applications have this feature. ----- I know that there is an "Undelete" function, but I think his point is that it takes forever to view the Trash folder if you do not empty it frequently.
