Description Jordi Haarman 2003-11-10 11:18:38 UTC
In outlook you are able to create tasks for contacts. When the tasks
pops-up you can then open the contact directly. This way you can also
link contacts in outlook. Currently in evolution 1.4.5 there is the option
to add spouse to a contact person. It would be nice if you could just add
another contact there. It might even be beter to add the possibility to
be able to create a list of contacts there where you can select the
roles each person has in relation to the specific contact. (spouse, child,
family, boss, etc). Those roles should then be editable like the categories.

adding keywords; at least one can assign a task...
Comment 2 André Klapper 2005-11-25 00:41:44 UTC
reassigning jpr's old evolution\miscellaneous bugs to harish

Being able to perform generic linking of contacts (with a defined role) would be very useful. I've starting doing this with Agendus Pro on my Treo (Palm device) and it is very useful.

This is something which could be implemented as a Plugin?

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
