GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 248013
"Helvetica" in footers => random printer font
Last modified: 2005-10-24 06:41:12 UTC
With evolution 1.4.4, evolution tries to use "Helvetica" for the for the font for the footeres when printing. However, most systems won't have that on a system font, and libgnomeprint has a very crude ability to do fallbacks; it ends up picking the alphabetically first font on the system, which can be anything: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=79271 It's easy to make gnome-print do a bit better: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120954 But it would be good if Evolution would, when it wants a generic sans-serif font, use "Sans Regular" rather than "Helvetica".
adding printing keyword to gtkhtml bugs. sorry for the noise. :-/
