Description David B. Ritch 2003-07-11 16:46:01 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: critical
Version: GNOME2.2.2 1.4.3
os_details: Ximian, Inc.
Synopsis: Evolution still crashes when saving contact info
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.0.1)
Description:
Description of Problem:
When I edit a contact and save it, Evolution crashes.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Click on Contacts shortcut.
2. Open a contact, and modify it.
3. Click on save and close.

Actual Results:
Evolution crashes

Expected Results:
The contact is saved and the window closes, leaving me in the contacts
view.

How often does this happen?
Before I upgraded evolution, every time. Now, I upgraded, and it
happened the only time I've tested it.

Additional Information:
I reported this before, and it was marked as fixed. I assumed that the
fix would be in the latest update to evolution that just came out, and
I installed. However, the problem appears to still be there.

Debugging Information:

Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution-1.4'

Yeah, fix didn't make into 1.4.3
You'll need to wait for 1.4.4 or get Evolution from CVS
