Description jhk 2003-07-10 12:07:09 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: critical
Version: GNOME2.2.2 1.4.0
os_details: Ximian, Inc.
Synopsis: Crash when viewing/accepting calendar entries via email
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.0.1)
Description:
Description of Problem:
When recieving an email from MS Entourage (Mac) that contains calendar
information Evolution 1.4 on RedHat 7.3 crashes. The first email
containing such an attachment displays correctly, however clicking on
another email with a similar attachment causes the crash.

While viewing the first message (where Evolution doesn't crash),
clicking on the 'Accept' button causes Evolution to give an error
message along the lines of 'There was an error in CORBA'.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. View first email with calendar attachement.
2. Click on Accept to view CORBA related message.
3. Click on another email with calendar attachment to make Evolution
crash.

Actual Results:
Calendar data is not imported from emails.

Expected Results:
Complete integration of email calendar notifications into Evolution
calendar component.

How often does this happen?
Every time.

Additional Information:
n/a
