Additional Information:
I am running a dual Athalon 2100+ MP system. The kernel is 2.4.19
compiled from unmodified kernel sources. Everything else works great. 
(With a system this fast, you better believe it!)  I have plenty of
memory. (512M) and lots of disk space left. (About 30 gigs free.)
