Description colburn 2002-09-20 15:27:54 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Cosmetic
Version: 1.0.3
Synopsis: "Edit as new message" menu item available, but doesn't allow editting as new message
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer

Description:
I've a minor quibble about Evolution 1.0.3-4. Its a minor quibble, but I used Netscape's "Edit message as new" quite often and liked it.

In Evolution, when I select "edit as new message" from the file menu, I get a message saying I can only do that from my Sent folder. I don't want to go and open my sent folder to edit my own message. Maybe you could add a configuration checkbox for "allow editing of received messages in folders other than Sent"? Or at least remove (or grey out) the menu choice if the activity isn't allowed.

Thanks for your product! I'm still learning how to use it, but I'm looking forward to integrating with my Palm!
