GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 226236
IMAP message downloads should have a progress bar or percent indicator.
Last modified: 2005-08-30 06:46:59 UTC
When browsing IMAP mail Evolution gives you feed back about it's progress in the status bar. It says things such as "Retreiving message 1023 (...)". It would be much more useful it it put a percent reading in the brackets. Or a progress bar or something to indicate that it is working. In my situation where I read my mail over an ADSL SSL IMAP link big Mime Digests or email's with attachments can take some time to download and having Evolution provide progress feedback would be helpful. Thanks
this should be marked as depending on the "imap rewrite" bug I guess. The new CamelImapStream code will probably make this easier to do, right now it's basically impossible and the code is such a message I don't even feel like bothering to try.
this is also a duplicate i think.
