Description Dan Keshet 2002-05-11 22:19:19 UTC
Description of Problem:

If you are subscribed to an IMAP folder, but it doesn't exist on the
server, it isn't checked for mail even if it comes into existence. It is
impossible to unsubscribe or resubscribe.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Subscribe to IMAP folder
2. Delete folder on server; quit evolution
3. Open Evolution
4. Send mail to folder

Actual Results:

Folder does not appear in folder list.

Expected Results:

Folder does appear in folder list.

How often does this happen?

Every time.

Additional Information:

I have a "drafts" folder on server. I can not access drafts written in
another email client and saved to the drafts folder without restarting
evolution.

Another IMAP rewrite thing.
Comment 2 Not Zed 2002-09-11 06:14:21 UTC
does this still happen? some code changed but i dont know if it
would've changed the behaviour at all. does 'get mail' (if you have
'check all folders for new mail set') re-activate the folder?

(BTW by still happen i mean september 2002 snapshot or version 1.2 beta)
Comment 4 Dan Keshet 2002-09-11 17:20:09 UTC
I'm away from my home machine and won't be able to test this for
another week or so. (And then, only if .deb's are available--I
haven't been tracking evolution's progress so I don't know if this is
true.)

Closing due to lack of response. Presumed fixed.
