Description Kevin Breit 2002-02-23 19:00:06 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Wishlist
Version: 1.0.2
Synopsis: Filters should be better at "and", "or", and "not"
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Miscellaneous

Description:
Currently, Evolution only allows you to do a "and" and an "or" on the
entire rule. However, this allows for very little flexibility. I would
like each criterion to have an "and", "or", and "not" rule associated
with it. For example, my dad has 3 email accounts. If I want to
forward all subjects (this would be an "and") with Fwd: in them to a
folder, if (this would be the "or") part his email is email1@email.com,
email2@email.com, email3@jo.com.
I realize this may not be the best example. Jeff, if you have more
questions, let me know.

Comment 7 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:11:42 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
