Description salex 2002-01-10 14:24:21 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: 1.0
Synopsis: feature request - ability to delete old duplicate on add
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook]

Description:
A friend just sent me his new email address. I right clicked the
address in the
header to add it to the address book. What I really hoped would happen
is that the
address book would give me the opportunity to consolidate the two
entries and edit
the result. Almost as good would have been if, when it gave me the
popup saying
that I had a very similar entry already, it had given me the option to
delete the old
entry.

consolidating 2 entries == merge.
