Description jerome.bertorelle 2001-12-29 10:16:16 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: 1.0
Synopsis: vFolders not update with IMAP and concurrent accesses
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer

Description:
The situation arises when Evolution access an IMAP mail account on
which several vFolders depends.

If another IMAP client access the server and modifies the mailbox,
Evolution will detect it and resynchronize. However in the process
it fails to update the vFolders. These are left in an inconsistent
state
(either empty or with messages). The empty state is the issue ;-)

Except for quitting and restarting Evolution I found no way to
trigger the vFolder refresh.

my guess is the imap code isn't giving out the right changed events.
but who knows the vfolder code is crap anyway.
Comment 3 Not Zed 2002-07-24 11:54:44 UTC
evolution doesn't support shared imap folders.
