Description:
This happened to me in the first versions of Evolution then it got
fixed.

But now it came back. When pressing the "Send/Receive" botton it says:

Error:
Error while 'Fetching Mail':
Could not lock '/var/spool/mail/karl'

In "Tools/Mail Settings" under the "Receiving Mail" tap:

Server Type: Local delivery
Path:/var/spool/mail/karl

And this is correct.
