Description Ross Burton 2001-10-29 12:16:10 UTC
When clicking on the button to verify a PGP signature there is no feedback
that an activity is being performed. If gpg is downloading the keys over a
slow connection this can take several seconds, perhaps a message "Please
wait..." should pop up in the message where the signature was, or the
cursor should change to a busy icon.
Comment 1 Dan Winship 2001-10-29 14:20:11 UTC
Hm, yeah, we should do that in a background thread now
Comment 2 Jeffrey Stedfast 2002-07-01 21:01:30 UTC
except we can't.

well, we could run it in another thread but we'd still hve to block
waiting for it to finish so the benefit is basically 0.
Comment 3 Gerardo Marin 2002-12-16 05:31:33 UTC
Fejj: is this feasible?
Comment 4 Jeffrey Stedfast 2002-12-16 14:36:08 UTC
not with the way the code works, no :\
Comment 5 André Klapper 2005-02-07 15:03:32 UTC
should be a duplicate of bug 261186; with at least this issue this bug
is about being solved by not zed's patch for bug 261186.
