GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 212662
GPG encryption to a chosen pub key (e.g. user's second mail address)
Last modified: 2021-05-19 11:45:29 UTC
Hello, It would be nice to have an interface to select which key is used when sending mail to a user with multiple gpg keys.

would be solved by anna's patch for bug 206574; adding dependency.
Hi, I just wonder what the status of this feature request is. In addition, I would like to know if, with this patch, it will be possible to _freely_ choose a key, right now Evolution only selects the one that matches the primary email address of the send-to user. I would like to select any key with which evolution signs a messge by myself. Ideally the key to use would be stored with the contact information of the user, like i.e. in kaddressbook/kmail. (compare to Bug 73645) Thank you
Could have used this today, still open in 3.2

Probably this is blocking bug 209038 as well.
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org. As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled). If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version, then please follow https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines and create a new enhancement request ticket at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/ Thank you for your understanding and your help.
