Description Joe Drew 2001-08-20 17:29:26 UTC
Currently it seems that contact lists are lists of e-mail addresses and/or
names. This means that if I add contact A to the list, and then change A's
e-mail address, it is not changed in the list. This should be changed so
that contact lists are in fact linked to the contacts themselves, and
changing one changes the other. This could serve to alleviate some of the
general suckiness of contact lists.

I'd actually like to see this handled like pine does it- you can
either add a name (which, at send-time, is resolved to an address)
/or/ an address, so that you can add people who aren't in your contact
list but can also have the flexibility described by Joe. Post 1.0, though.
