GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 172323
Tablet PC Wacom input problem
Last modified: 2008-01-15 12:51:15 UTC
Please describe the problem: I'm using a Tablet PC, with Wacom Penabled drivers installed (v4.82-9). Gimp works well when Tablet is in landscape mode. However, if orientation is changed to portrait mode the mouse cursor will behave normally, but the brush in Gimp will draw at 90 degrees to what the curor is doing, with an offset. It's as if Gimp is still using the pen settings before the tablet orientation is changed. This occurs in portrait mode irrespective of if Gimp is loaded before or after the change of orientation. Steps to reproduce: 1. Change TabletPC orientation to portrait. 2. Try to draw anything. Actual results: The cursor will behave normally, but the Gimp brush draws at 90 degrees to what the cursor is doing (moving cursor right, draws upwards, moving upwards draws left, moving left draws down and moving down draws right). The cursor and the brush axis intercept at the centre of the screen. Expected results: The brush should follow the cursor movements. Does this happen every time? This occurs every time. The same problem is describe in bug 145430. You could maybe provide some of the information the last comment there is asking for. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 145430 ***
