Distribution/Version: 2000(Russian version)

Create user with curillic name or use default admin profile.
Install GTK and gimp.
Start gimp and try to open any graphical file.
>Gimp can't access to .thumbnails directory it has wrong characters in path 
becose it in user profile with curillic name,and i can't find how to change path 
to .thumbnails directory to pass this problem. Can you add this path in profile 
settings?

You can set the HOME environment variable to workaround this problem until a
fixed version of GTK+ becomes available.
