GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 170265
Error loading files into library
Last modified: 2005-11-11 17:01:05 UTC
Distribution/Version: Gentoo Rune Rhythmbox for the first time. It asked where a my 'library' was a told it. It then passed through all the files in the (sub)directory i indicated. It then displayed a new windows titled "Error loading files into library" where it stands "The folowing files couldn't be loaded:" and a list of five files; with names like "/home/julien/medias/musique/Claude François intégrale 62-72/Cd6/01 - Une petite larme m'a trahi.mp3". And the "Error column" shows "Internal GStreamer error: caps problem. File a bug."
Please attach one of those files or upload it somewhere so we can look at them.
One of the files causing the error can be downloaded from http://julien.kicks-ass.org/bugging/01%20-%20Une%20petite%20larme%20m'a%20trahi.mp3 The exact path name was actually "/home/julien/medias/musique/Claude François intégrale 62-72/Claude François intégrale 62-72/Cd6/01 - Une petite larme m'a trahi.mp3" Note that plenty of other files are in this directory, and they didn't cause any error.
Note that the above file is stored on my personal computer. So the dowload my be slow and maybe not always available. But my computer is turned on quite often. Sorry for the inconvenience!!
I can't download the file anymore.. well the bug is quite old so it's possible that you have moved it or something else! Are you able to reproduce this bug now? If so can you put the files somewhere? thanks!
Closing. Please reopen if it's still an issue for you.
