Description Adrian Custer 2005-03-12 16:12:53 UTC
Version details: mandrake 10.2 cooker

I realize that you don't want a myriad of options. However, screen estate being
the most precious commodity in my computing world, I hope you might consider a
mode to give me the most text per window footprint.

I use evince for pdflatex previews and want to proofread text on screen so that
the bigger the size of the glyphs the more likely I am to find errors. 'Fit to
page' wastes all the space in the magins and makes the text small. 'Fit to
width' forces me into a whole different movement mode, with the page jumping
around a whole lot. The new mode would allow me to:

1) open doc
2) fit to text
3) pgDown through the whole doc

so I could focus, as much as possible, on proofreading.

cheers,
adrian

Thanks for the idea. That wish is already in bugzilla.
