Last modified: 2005-03-10 10:59:39 UTC
From: Felix Meulenkamp <> To: submit@bugs.gnome.org X-Mailer: bug-buddy 2.8.0 Subject: rhythmbox crashes when i change genre of a radio stream Distribution: Debian testing/unstable Package: rhythmbox Severity: critical Version: GNOME2.8.1 0.8.5 Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu Synopsis: rhythmbox crashes when i change genre of a radio stream Bugzilla-Product: rhythmbox Bugzilla-Component: iradio Bugzilla-Version: 0.8.5 BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0) Description: Description of the crash: When i change the genre property of a running stream, rhythmbox crashes. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. start a radio stream 2. select genre specific view, with the running stream inside 3. open "Change properties" of this Stream (by keybord shortcut C-p) 4. change Genre from "Trance" to "Trance Psycho" 5. Close Dialog (by A-o) -> Dialog closes and application crashes Expected Results: Dialog closes and genre view changes to new genre or stay empty. How often does this happen? 2 times testet... is reproducible for me. Additional Information: I tested this 2 times with the last Station in this genre category. I liked to test, if rhythmbox shows a new genre "Trance Psycho" or if it put this station in both genres "Trance" and "Psycho". Genre "Psycho" wasn't there before. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/rhythmbox' (no debugging symbols found)...Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1".
