GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 169402
padding in window list is unlogically allocated
Last modified: 2005-07-10 13:57:26 UTC
Distribution/Version: latest ubuntu hoary Don't know if this is a dupe but searching for such a thing wasn't easy. Just take a look at the following images: http://home.arcor.de/benjamin_lebsanft/pics/one.png -> The padding on the right side is unneeded, why make the "button" that big ? http://home.arcor.de/benjamin_lebsanft/pics/two.png -> The padding of the right "button" is again unneeded but the left one could need some more to display the whole title.
I don't know what the algorithm for allocating space in the window list is, but I think the idea is to make them as wide as possible and of equal size, so they are easier to use.
Thanks for your bug, there is already #125023 #155870 #160977 about issues with the list of tasks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 160977 ***
