Description of Problem:
On FreeBSD (and possibly other platforms) the thunderbird program
is called "thunderbird" and not "mozilla-thunderbird" so it does
not show up in the dropdown list for preferred mail application.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. 
Install thunderbird
2. 
Fire up gnome-default-applications-properties
3. 
Click Mail Reader tab, Dropdown list is disabled (or thunderbird does
not show up if other mailers are installed)

Actual Results:
See above

Expected Results:
Thunderbird visible in the list.

How often does this happen?
Every time.
