Description Erik Volkman 2005-02-13 19:35:43 UTC
Distribution/Version: Fedora Core 3

I think it would be useful to include keyboard shortcuts to control the
rhythmbox volume slider. I think that Ctrl-Up and Ctrl-Down would be good choices.
Comment 1 Gabriel de Perthuis 2005-03-02 14:17:46 UTC
You can make global shortcuts for this with gnome-keybinding-properties - this
is even better, as it works globally.
Comment 2 Ari Pollak 2005-06-19 21:01:18 UTC
global volume shortcuts aren't even better, because the rhythmbox volume control
specifically adjusts the rhythmbox volume.
Comment 3 Erik Volkman 2005-06-19 23:45:00 UTC
The problem with global shortcuts is that it doesn't do anything for balance
between applications. And from a usability standpoint, it seems like a basic
action like volume adjustment should have keyboard shortcuts.
