-create a new document
-add some data in a1:c3
-create a contour plot with these data
-put =c2 in d1 or elsewhere

the value in d1 is not that in c2 and the graph has only one colour but was
correct in the guru.
Most times gnumeric crashes on exiting or attempting to save the file.
