1. Invoke theme capplet.
2. Select 'Theme Details' and then select Icons.
3. Click on Install Theme and install any icon theme.
4. The installed icon theme is not listed in the Theme details window.

(The installed icon theme actually gets installed in .themes instead of .icons dir)
