GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 165580
No way to select su[bp]script for rich text
Last modified: 2008-04-11 22:02:04 UTC
Please describe the problem: It is impossible to have single characters with subscript. There is no opportunity to change one character to subscript. Steps to reproduce: 1. Type "abc" in a single cell 2. Highlight "b" in the string 3. ??? Actual results: I can't get the cell-format dialog Expected results: I Would expect to get with a right click (or in the Format Menu) the cell Format-dialog to change to subscript Does this happen every time? Yes Other information: I use gnumeric with windows XP
Seems sub/superscripts are not yet supported in Gnumeric. This would be a nice feature, we should add that to the font selector, IMHO.
Jean : yes. I think the best approach will be to add super/sub script support to GOFont (including selectors). Then continue to remove the old gnumeric code in favour of GOFont.
