Description crouch 2005-01-18 17:54:32 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The file chooser, in save mode has a set of default bookmarks (Home, Desktop,
Filesystem etc.). This list includes a read only CDROM drive, whether it is
empty contains a data or audio disk. This is incorrect.

Steps to reproduce:
1. in firefox select save page as
2. examine left panel of file selector dialog
3.

Actual results:
CDROM drive is displayed and cannot be removed

Expected results:
CDROM should not be displayed. Better still, it should be possible for a user to
remove any of the default bookmarks as required.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
If the CDROM drive contains a disk it is spun up before the file selector can be
used. So impacts use and performance and is not purely cosmetic.
