Description palfrey 2005-01-17 13:05:41 UTC
With the Window list applet in Gnome 2.8 (I think, certainly in 2.6), if there
was free panel space to the right of the applet, it's maximum size was larger
than it's current size, and it could do with some more space (i.e. you can see
the whole name of some programs) then it would expand to fit the available
space. Now, with 2.9.4, the window list doesn't expand to more than it's
minimum size even when there is spare space. I had used the work around of
increasing it's minimum size to greater than the amount of space that it would
ever have, but it then doesn't resize back down automatically like it used to
when I'm shuffling around icons to the right of it.

Confusingly enough, this is actually in gnome-panel.

Actually, it's a bug in libwnck ;-)
