In order to decide whether this is a duplicate of bug #161797 or not, we need more information. Please tell us if the directory you are trying to visit with the file chooser dialog is located on a server.
The file-Dialog never appears, so I can't choose any file. The stop occurs just after clicking on the File->Open Menu.
Well, where's the directory located then that GIMP starts from? That would be the initial directory the file-chooser tries to access.
startpath ist C:\Programme\GIMP-2.2\bin\gimp-2.2.exe; but my "eigene dateien" ("My Folders" in english?) is located on an Network Drive (by UNC). Maybe that's the Network connection which makes the errors.
The installer sets the startup folder to My Pictures (== "Eigene Bilder"?), which is inside My Documents (== "Eigene Dateien"). So this is a duplicate of bug 161797.
