GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 163412
Can't select current font size
Last modified: 2005-01-11 19:59:04 UTC
If current cell's font size is 10, you can't select size 10 from the font size combo box. Selecting a size should just set the font size of the cell, it shouldn't make a difference if the size already is 10. This would be useful when there are multiple text sizes inside the cell (abc, a is 10, b is 12, c is 14) and you want all text in the cell to have the same size.
I think this is a more general combo box problem (hopefully not a conscious design decision). You also can't select current font name or current zoom percentage.
I don't use Windows, but even in Linux selecting a font size why the cell is selected does not change the size of characters that were individually sized. So being able to slect the size 10 would _not_ make all characters of that size: format cell to size 12, enter aba and change b to size 10. select cell and change its size to 20. b is still size 10!
Yes, I forgot to mention that I reported that one as part of bug 163410 (attachment 35702 [details], 4th and 5th row).
Confirming that it is not possible to select whatever item is current.
Fixed in cvs. This still isn't great as it appears that keyboard navigation simply does not work.
