Description gnome 2004-12-30 22:02:17 UTC
- Open the "Keyboard" tool in the Preferences menu.
- Go into "layout options".
- Check the French translation of available options.
- Take a laugh.
- Then change "clé" to "touche".

For English-speaking people, it's like this application would tell one about
door keys, not keyboard or piano keys!

Hi,

This is not a bug in the GNOME French translation, but in the translation of the
file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/rules/xfree86.xml.

This file belongs to the XFree86 or Xorg package.

Checks your distribution and Happy New Year :-)

Isn't this bug invalid rather than fixed? I'll check the X.org bugzilla, thanks.

Happy new year to you too!
