1.Start battstat-applet-2.
2.Plug/unplug power, observe no change in icon.

work-around: If you remove the applet from the panel and then re-add it back the
icon updates.

h/w spec:
IBM Thinkpad R40e 2685-k7m (No apm) with ACPI.

Status of AC adapter can discovered by viewing the
/proc/acpi/ac_adapter/AC/state. this file has been verified to be correct with
manual test.
