Description of Problem:
nautilus quits when selecting an unaccessible directory (eg root if user
is not root)

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. click on unaccessible directory (eg root if user is not root) - on
either the main window or on rhe side pane with tree view

Actual Results:
Application quits with message "The folder contents could not be
displayed."

Expected Results:
Application should display the message but NOT quit
