Description Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2004-10-28 15:33:23 UTC
Install Amarok music player. Adding the fedora.us testing repo to apt's sources
list lets you easily grab it:
rpm http://sunsite.mff.cuni.cz/pub/fedora.us/fedora fedora/2/i386 os updates testing
rpm-src http://sunsite.mff.cuni.cz/pub/fedora.us/fedora fedora/2/i386 os updates
testing

CPU usage normal with ossink and esdsink

Ok, so according to markey, and it seems to fit my problem the issue is
triggered on soundcards without hw-mixing combined with no dmix

Just tested CVS gst-plugins with Ronalds alsa fixes. Problem gone for me :) Closing.
