the error message "**WARNING (recursed)**. Couldn't load font "MS Sans Serif 8"
falling back to "Sans 8" aborting" appears when trying to drag a top layer below
the background. Okay, so dragging a layer under the background is a fairly silly
idea in hindsight, but an error message related to a font, and then a total
crash of the application, is most strange.

As was explained to you already, the warning is handled in the FAQ at
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/faq.html It has also been taken care of already
(and I told you that as well). Closing as duplicate. Please stop wasting our time.

This bug report was not related to the console ("DOS box") of bug #141102, but it
shows the same fatal "recursed" error from Pango as described in bug #163740 and
others such as bug #112401.
