Description Johan Svedberg 2004-10-15 09:30:06 UTC
This bug was originally reported in the Debian BTS: http://bugs.debian.org/276595

"Most GNOME apps can enter the Notification Area when it is added to the panel
after the apps are started. And they also reenter the NA if it's deleted and
re-created (say in a different panel). This is the case of rhythmbox or gaim
for instance.
Could you please fix the NA code in blam to enter the NA when it can?"
Comment 1 Mikael Hallendal 2004-10-23 13:06:17 UTC
Seems that I don't get the destroy event in Blam when the notification icon is
destroyed. Most likely my fault somewhere but I'm adding this here so I don't
forget it :)

This happens because tberman's egg-sharp.cs does not fully implement the
notification area spec.

The fix is attached to bug 314097, which is the same bug for muine.
