Description flem123 2004-10-09 17:54:45 UTC
When I start Gimp 2.0 a black window with white text appears. It is a C: prompt
screen. The screen begins scrolling.
The line " ** (gimp-2.0.exe:912): Warning **: Couldn't
load font "MS Sans Serif 8" falling back to "Sans 8"
This line keeps scrolling page after page. Anytime I do anything with Gimp
a few more lines scroll on the screen. It is always the same line. I have MS
San Serif on my computer. When I opened the Spinning Globe feature a new C:
prompt window opened and started scrolling the same line.
If I leave the window open everything seems to work fine. If I close the window
Gimp closes.

The cause for the warnings is handled in the FAQ at Jernej's site. The console
window also won't pop uo any longer with GLib 2.4.7 which has just been released.
