Distribution: Debian 3.1 Package: gedit Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.6.1 2.6.2 Gnome-Distributor: Debian Synopsis: The aplpication GEdit closes down unexpectedly Bugzilla-Product: gedit Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: 2.6.2 BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.6.1.1) Description: Description of the crash: When I try to open more than one document at a time it simple crashes. If I first open an old document, then create a new one and copy text from the old one into the new document and finally tries to save the new document it crashes. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Open a saved document 2. Open another saved document or 1. Open an old document 2.Create a new document 3.Copy text from the old document and paste it into the new document 4.Save the new document Expected Results: Either the application simply closes down. Or you get a message saying that the application unexpectedly closed down, and giving you three options as follows: Restart the application, Close, Inform developers. How often does this happen?
